Summer Berry Sangria in 5 Minutes

My absolute favourite summer drink is Sangria. Super refreshing, light, and full of fruit and the taste of summer. But did you know how easy it is to make? Again, this is an alcohol recipe, so make sure you’re only making/drinking this if you’re of legal age.

  • 2 bottles of red wine (I use an off-dry, Georgian red, because it’s fabulous, and doesn’t require sweetening)
  • 2 cans of gingerale
  • 2 cups of cut berries
  • 4 oz brandy or Cointreau

Step 1: Everyone in the Pool

Put everything into a large container. I use a collapsible container, but there are also glass ones, or plastic. The fruit will most likely float to the top, but that’s ok. Give everything a gentle stir until it’s all combined.

Step 2: Chill

Place the container in the fridge overnight to let all the flavours combine. Serve on its own, making sure to get a some of the fruit in each glass. Keep in mind the fruit will have absorbed some of the alcohol, so be careful with eating a lot of it!
