Onion soup mix is an awesome base to use for all sorts of recipes, and it only costs pennies to make. Because all the ingredients are non-perishable, you can make a large batch and keep it in your cupboard until you need it.
Ingredients:
Step 1: Mix everything together
Throw everything into a bowl, and mix it together. Because the onion flakes are light and the bouillon is heavy, make sure it all combines well. Don’t add salt, because the bouillon itself is already quite salty.
Step 2: Store
Yep, that’s it. Throw it in a mason jar and store it. About 4-5 tablespoons of mix is the equivalent of 1 package of soup mix, and costs about a quarter per package. It also makes a great DIY gift.
Onion Dip Recipe:
Mix together, and let sit in the fridge for 1 hour. Serve.
