Another awesome meal you can make in only 5 minutes. These pasta recipes are super easy, use only one pan to cook in, and can be prepared in minutes.
Ingredients (for 2 servings):
Step 1: Everything in the pan!
Put the pasta in the centre of a large, deep pan. I use a 12″ cast iron pan for this, as it holds the heat well. Place the other ingredients on the side of the pan, and pour the water over everything.
Step 2: Simmer
Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn down to medium-low and keep on a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. As the pasta softens, mix it gently to separate it. The water will be slowly absorbed by the pasta, and you’ll see the water level go down.
When there’s about 1/4″ of liquid left in the pan, and the pasta is tender, it’s ready to serve. Make sure it’s mixed up well so that the ingredients are all combined, and serve. It’s a delicious dinner, and works great as a leftover for lunches!
Hope you enjoy!
